A one-week classroom comparison
In a fictional classroom activity, 40 students chose whether to use an AI-generated study guide or their usual notes for one week. Students using the AI guide reported higher confidence. Both groups had similar average scores on the end-of-week comprehension quiz. Students were not randomly assigned, and no later follow-up was conducted. This activity did not test replacing independent reading.
A confident answer. Enough evidence?
“AI-guide users reported higher confidence. The AI guide caused students to learn more. The benefits lasted for months. All schools should replace independent reading with AI guides.”
